The Monash Concert Band is available for hire throughout the year and can perform to a variety of requirements.
The Band is available for providing music at a wide range of functions including Fund Raisers, Dinner Dances, Themed Concerts, Festivals, Fetes, Product launches, sporting events, ceremonial occasions, openings of buildings - in fact Monash Concert Band is available for any type of performance.
Three months notice of a performance date is preferred when booking the band. This allows adequate rehearsal time and delivery of any required sheet music, or possible special arrangements needed. The earlier we know about an engagement, the better so we can meet your needs. A shorter lead time may be practical in some circumstances
When preparing for a performance, the band requires the following information:

contact details of appropriate event representative

an outline programme showing proposed details of Monash Concert Band's involvement, including appropriate times/locations for setup and dismantling, and equipment storage, etc.

if appropriate an official media release regarding the event which can be used on the band's website.

details, or at least an outline of the type of music required. The band has an extensive library of over 500 pieces, and can access pieces from further afield if necessary. Music can also be specifically arranged for a performance. Where music needs to be purchased or arranged the lead time for an engagement may need to be extended.

amplification and lighting requirements (especially whether these are to be provided by the band or by the event organiser) (The band can provide basic lighting and sound reinforcement)

staging and general environmental conditions expected for the bands activities.
The Monash Concert Band will be happy to provide a quote for performances. The cost will vary depending on requirements. As a rough guide, an event calling for performance over three hours could be quoted at $2500 for a 35 piece band. Event organisers are best served contacting the band for more information.
